The project is located on the Latin American and Caribbean coast, with poor working conditions, salt fog content of 35~36%, and instantaneous wind speed of 45m/s. Through the multi-party arguments of the Cuban Power Union and the chief experts of the Republic of Cuba route, the design of steel poles and towers was negated from the comparison of structure, production process and durability. At the same time, the design of large-scale poles in El Salvador was also negated. The final design uses a part of the prestressed large bending moment circular concrete pole produced by Beipiao Power Pole Manufacturing Co., Ltd. This process is compatible with the advantages of the elastic deformation of the prestressed pole and the large bending moment of the non-prestressed pole. Combined with the mechanical properties and durability of the high-strength concrete, the product is fully adapted to the operating conditions of the local harsh conditions. After three on-site verifications by Cuban Power Alliance experts and chief experts of the Cuban route, in the case of destructive tests with a super standard of 300% loading, the steel bars continued, the concrete was not broken, and all the indicators met the design requirements.

The project has experienced more than two years of business negotiations and field visits since 2016. In August 2018, the two sides signed a contract for the export of 2,400 high-strength bending moment circular concrete poles worth 13 million yuan, and reached a long-term cooperation agreement. This is not only a major historical node in the 40 years since the establishment of Beipiao Power Pole Manufacturing Co., Ltd., but also achieved a breakthrough in the export of high-strength bending moment circular concrete poles in China; it is not only the honor of the North Pole pole, but also the Chinese pole. Beipiao Electric Power Pole Manufacturing Co., Ltd. is one of the revised drafting units of the national standard GB4623-2014 "Circular Concrete Pole". At present, Beipiao Power Pole Manufacturing Co., Ltd. is currently preparing for the assembly-type construction production base project. Planned construction investment of 65 million yuan, calculated according to the assembly rate of 30% of houses in Chaoyang area, gradually forming a production scale with an annual output of 100,000 m3, new concrete prefabricated parts such as stairs, wall panels, laminated slabs and shear walls. The product has been successfully trial-produced. It is estimated that after the completion of the project, the annual output value will reach 200 million yuan, the profit and tax will be 30 million yuan, and 200 people will be employed.
